Louie was suffering with pancratitis and diabetes. He was so sick, he couldn't move or eat or drink. It was so sad and he cried from stomach pain all the time. Dr. Mariano immediately order diagnostic imaging tests to make sure there were no masses internally and she kept him there for 3 days to hydrate him and administer antibiotics for his pancreatitis. After three days, I went to pick him up to bring him home but she was not satisfied with his bloodwork and she felt he still needed the IV infusions of fluids. Because the stay was costly, she suggested to me that she'll keep the IV inserted and I can bring home the fluid bags and administer it myself. She saved me so much money without me even asking her. Dr. Mariano is so caring and loving to her patients. She called me at home several times to check on Louie. She saved his life!! I will never forget that, we just love her!! She's what every veterinarian should be like. Genuinally caring for her patients and their owners.
